Our Story

We're an award-winning digital marketing agency located in downtown Fredericksburg. We work in the bright, sunny, yellow house on William Street. With Freddy Donuts next door, Soup & Taco across the street, and within walking distance of Blue Cow Ice Cream, Mellow Mushroom, Primavera, Castiglia's, Red Dragon Brewery, and a bunch of other fun places, we operate on the best block in town! 

Our colorful, open-concept offices foster creativity & discourage afternoon naps. Outside, you might see us working while enjoying the sunshine on our big front porch.

Digital Marketing Associate (full-time) 
This position has a training period of up to 90 days & offers a great opportunity for advancement. This is an in-office position.  Please note:  We prefer candidates with a minimum of 2 to 4 years of professional experience at an agency or related business or organization. Will train the right candidate.

General Description of Duties:

 

  • Research, plan and implement SEO marketing strategies for multiple clients 

  • Stay current about new & evolving digital marketing strategies

  • Prepare quotes & process information requests from sales leads & clients

  • Design basic promotional graphics. Experience with Canva is a plus

  • Write promotional copy for websites, social media & other promotion materials

  • Develop marketing strategies to promote Flair Communication products and services

  • Manage social media accounts including content creation, graphics, & monitoring activity

  • Generate performance reports for clients

  • Basic website design and complete website updates as needed

  • Develop and manage email promotion strategies including design, writing, lists, and performance

  • Attend marketing & business networking events 

  • Manage Google Ads strategies for clients

  • Manage online reviews campaigns

  • Manage & nurture new sales leads and clients in need of expanded design and/or marketing services

  • Perform other related duties as needed

 

Skills (some training provided - Minimum 2 to 4 years of professional work experience preferred):

  • Proficiency with SEO strategies and SEO software

  • Proficiency with Google Ads Management

  • Proficiency with basic Google Analytics and Google Console platforms

  • Proficiency in Social Media Management (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn) including Ad accounts

  • Good presentation skills - online and in-person

  • Strong writing and editing skills

  • Website design experience or possess the design aptitude to learn our web design system

  • Basic graphic design skills & aptitude to adapt to evolving design trends (Canva level experience)

  • Photography, Video, Photoshop, MailChimp, and Adobe Illustrator skills are a plus

  • Possess excellent communication & interpersonal skills

  • Basic sales skills (primarily for inbound leads and existing clients)

  • High energy, outgoing, personable, and comfortable working directly with clients

Google Ads and Social Media Marketing Certifications are a plus.

 

Candidates must:

Hours:

 

8am - 5pm, Monday -Thursday, Friday 9am - Noon

Compensation & Benefits:

  • Salaried position - Negotiable based on experience & skills 

  • Performance bonuses

Marketing Assistant (part-time, paid internship) 
This position is open to junior or senior college students. Must be available at least 2 days per week for a min 4-hour shift each day.
Training provided.

General Description of Duties:

 

  • Provide website updates & changes for clients

  • Assist with social media marketing tasks

  • Assist with other marketing service tasks as needed

  • Answer phones

  • Administrative tasks as needed

 

Skills (training provided):

  • Meticulous attention to detail

  • Confidence & maturity to communicate directly with clients by phone and email

  • Excellent writing & editing

  • Excellent communication & interpersonal skills 

  • Ability to learn on the job

  • Possess the design aptitude to learn our web design system

  • Familiarity with Canva is a plus

  • Photography, Video, Photoshop, skills a plus

  • Enthusiastic, personable with confidence and maturity to work directly with clients

 

Candidates must:

Compensation:

 

$10/hour
